Women's Board of the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago
The Women's Board was founded in 1960. Since that time, it has provided major funding for the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago's (RIC) Charity Care Fund, and has made significant annual contributions to many special programs including:
The Women's Board comprises more than 90 members who have made a strong commitment to supporting RIC and its mission of helping people return to productive and independent lives. In addition to fundraising, members support the special programs through direct service volunteering, offering their skills and abilities to meet specific needs.

Medicine Ball: An Evening of Gatsby

Medicine Ball is an elegant, black-tie benefit hosted by the RIC Women's Board. This year, Chaz and Roger Ebert will serve as honorary benefit co-chairs.
The Women's Board aims to raise $500,000 through this event in support of RIC's Cancer Rehabilitation program. Through this evolving program, RIC physicians and therapists collaborate with those providing acute medical treatment to cancer patients in order to help these patients overcome or avoid deficits and long-term chronic conditions both during and after treatment.
More than 500 of Chicago's civic and business leaders are expected to attend this popular event, so reserve your tickets early!
